The Steiner Chorale announces today that the preliminary round of the Ethel J. Armeling Vocal Scholarship Competition has moved from Holt High School to The First Presbyterian Church of Lansing inside the beautiful Molly Grove Chapel. The preliminary round of the competition remains on March 4th.

The Steiner Chorale will join the Lansing Concert Band on Sunday, December 4th for a special concert entitled Holiday Festival. The concert will be held at the Charlotte Performing Arts Center and hosted by Ken Beachler and the concert band is conducted by Dr. Gary Sullivan. Concert time is 3PM. Music will include festive favorites plus an audience sing-a-long.

The Steiner Chorale has been asked to return to Silver Bells in the City and lead the community sing. The 32nd Annual Silver Bells celebration will take place on the Friday before Thanksgiving, November 18th. For more information on Silver Bells in the City click here.
Tickets for the December 9th Concert of Music at All Saints Episcopal Church are now available online. A large variety of music will be performed. Music by John Rutter and arrangements by Robert Shaw and Dawson are a few of the works to be performed.

The finals of Ethel Armeling Vocal Scholarship Competition for this season will be on Sunday March, 19, 2017 at MSU Cook Recital Hall. Preliminaries will be held at Holt High School on March 4th. This competition is for High School juniors and seniors and is sponsored by the Steiner Chorale.
The Steiner Chorale is gearing up for a new season in earnest on Monday, Sep. 12 with our first practice. Our rehearsals run each Monday from 7pm until approximately 9pm. The 2016-17 concert season begins with the first rehearsal on Monday night, September 12th. The Steiner Chorale presents three concerts per year. Rehearsals will be on Monday nights from 7-9pm at St. Paul Lutheran Church on Lake Lansing Road in East Lansing.
